The ASMS readily recognizes the role of the Mohs technician as critical to the success of the procedure. The technician’s laboratory expertise in all aspects of tissue preparation contributes greatly to the surgeon’s efficient and reliable performance of the Mohs procedure. Therefore, the Mohs Technician-Related Professional category of membership is an important facet of the ASMS.
