Physician Training in Mohs Surgery 

Physicians may receive training in Mohs surgery in dermatology residency programs, through formal Mohs fellowships, in training courses such as the one offered by the ASMS, and through Mohs preceptorship experiences. Mohs surgery effectively combines the dermatologic surgical and dermatopathology components of the specialized training dermatologists receive in treating a wide variety of skin disorders.
